'It's a wonderful way to drop everything else you're thinking about'

On November 28th I gave a concert featuring the five tracks from my new EP, 'Taking Five', plus a few extras to round out the hour. Greg Myra returned to play piano, and close to 100 listeners showed up to hear us in person or tuned in online. I was so excited that this concert was live-streamed all over the world, never mind that the footage provided me with the material to make this three-and-a-half minute highlights video:

As promised, here is the Nov. 28th concert program (*album tracks):

1 Bach Cello Suite No. 1, Prelude (J.S. Bach)

2 *Melodie on a Theme by Rachmaninoff (Modest Altschuler)

3 *Serenade (Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov)

4 Salut d'Amour (Edward Elgar)

5 *Silent Woods (Antonin Dvorák)

6 The Swan (Camille Saint-Saëns)

7 *Après un rêve (Fauré)

8 *Song Without Words, Op. 109 (Felix Mendelssohn)

You can buy a digital or physical copy of the CD, or stream it by clicking here.

How about you? Apart from these continuing 'global health' reasons, do you enjoy attending concerts? Why or why not? What makes a really great concert experience for you? Let me know in the comments below!
