Last week Brad and I packed up the car and headed to Fredericton to attend the 2022 ECMAS. Here's a brief look at how things went...
We had FUN!!! I was lucky this fiddler guy who was nominated for a Roots/Trad award said I could walk the red carpet as his date ;) We even met the QUEEN! ...and the other QUEEN :)
(Pictured below: New Brunswick's 'Julia Jeffries' and Amour Love' )
We attended concerts! (This particular shot was of Brad's performance- I was the attendee with the camera)
We gave concerts. Brad's showcase was on Friday at 10:45pm showcase. Greg Myra and I performed at the Saturday afternoon, 2pm Classical Showcase. Classical concerts are so tame- lol!
I had 16 meetings scheduled, and workshops to attend. Good thing they all pertained to my favourite subject 🎵 🎵 🎵 !
That's five days and 10 hours of driving in a nutshell! I hope you enjoyed, and if you are curious to hear what I performed at the ECMA classical showcase, check out Apres un Rêve (After a Dream) and Song Without Words: https://leaf-music.lnk.to/CL2021
Thanks, and see you on the 20th!
